Hi Dr. Perry. I have a couple of questions for you and I thought this might be the easiest way. You recently prescribed Sprintec for me, and since I started taking it six weeks ago, my menstration has been very irregular. I have had this problem in the past and was curious how long I should wait before possibly trying a different pill. In these past 6 weeks, I have bled for three weeks then one week off (the first active week of the second pack) and then started again and for the past week. It has been a little lighter than usual, but I have required tampons for all but two days. I figured I should wait to see if it worked itself out, but I did not know how long I should give it.
I also have a history of yeast infections while on the pill and have had two and believe I have one right now. I used to have a prescription for Diflucan that I could go pick up when they reoccured. I was wondering if I need to come in for that or whether you could call that in for me.
